Well - Sorry for the delay in posting anything new but the last week or so has been manic.
Many of you will know that the Sea Vixen suffered an asymmetric flap problem a few weeks back and although we were hopeful that this would be repaired prior to the show , upon inspection a decision was made to curtail the remainder of the display season and get an early start on the winter maintenance.
The Lockheed 10 undercarriage issues have proved insurmountable so this will also be unable to attend.
In the meantime Mike had booked and lost a Mig 15, Gyrocopter and a Husky floatplane.
Anyway with aircraft coming a going parking plans have been fluid as has the draft Display Timetable.
So where are we? Well; the good news is we have a show, and more jet aircraft and display teams than we have had in a long time.
The Norwegian Air Force Historical Squadron have stepped in to supply a pair or De Havilland Vampires and our good friend Chris Heames will be back, this time in a Folland Gnat T.Mk1
There was still a small gap in the program so the AeroSparx will also be joining the line up once they finish in Guernsey.

Battle of Britain Memorial Flight consisting of the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane.

I will post the timetable later this evening. This is still likely to change as we continue to factor in the logistics of closing the airspace for the national display teams and the issues of getting aircraft between the islands after the Guernsey show.
As we move into display week our Twitter feed will come alive with the latest news on the latest arrivals.
The 2016 Display Programme should be on sale from most reputable stores in town.
